I don’t know about you guys, but a night out at a steakhouse is one of my favorite dining experiences. Walking into a nice restaurant, and instantly hearing the faint sizzle of a steak on a grill, smelling the succulent scents of meats, potatoes, and fresh veggies. It’s just an experience that I love, every single time. There’s one problem. It’s.So.Expensive. And I’m not made of money.
So, what do I do? It’s a conundrum, right? Wanting to have that same experience of dining out at a nice steakhouse, without shelling out an arm and a leg. It’s no secret that I’m a steak and potato guy. It is, without a doubt, my favorite all-time meal. When Sarah and I want a treat, we grill steak and bake, mash, saute, etc potatoes. But, we’re also pretty partial to a great bowl of potato soup. Seriously, have you ever had really good potato soup? It’s awesome!
My solution to replicating that experience at home? I transform my kitchen into a high-end steakhouse! But, Nick, that’s hard to do! Nah, bro, it’s not. If you follow my very explicit step-by-step instructions, you’ll be able to do the same in your home.
Step 1: Get your ingredients. For me, it starts with the apps. And a bowl of soup is where it’s at. I go with the Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Three Cheese Chipotle soup. It’s smooth, it’s creamy, it’s delicious. Next, pick your cut of meat. I go filet.
Step 2: Break out the fancy tablecloth and napkins. Add in your fanciest silverware. Do you have to do this? No, but you want a fine steakhouse experience, you go the whole nine-yards, right? Right.
Step 3: Dress up. Don your finest duds.
Step 4: Find yourself a couple of well-dressed servers to handle your every need. Or, ya know, dress your kids up in their nicest clothes and let them wait on you. For once!
Step 5: Dig in!
Did I mention that I should easily be crowned the King of Soup? Because I should. When you can pull out the big guns–ya know, your own kid waiting on you, bringing you piping hot soup, while you’re decked out in your fancy duds AT HOME, I think that makes the case for me. And really, I shouldn’t even need to say that. It’s quite obvious. Now, where’s my crown?
See what I mean? It’s really not very difficult! I mean, yeah, you gotta cook your food, but it’s worth it. And, with Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Potato Soups, it takes minutes! Unlike other dry soups that take more than 15 minutes to prepare by stove, with Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Potato Soups, you can conveniently just add water and prepare restaurant-quality soup in your kitchen within five minutes.
No joke. The soups are ready within five minutes and are worth it! I’m not saying I’ve chowed down on more than one of their soup varieties in the last few days, but I’m also not NOT saying that… For the record, they do have four awesomely delicious flavors: Creamy Potato, Loaded Potato, Cheddar Broccoli and Three Cheese Chipotle.
So, if you want to have that same dining-out experience as you have a steakhouse right in the comfort of your own home, take my advice and you too can consider yourself the #KingofSoup.
